Online survey results and analysis from Ragan Communications sponsored by PoliteMail Software, includes results from over 750 corporate communicators higher security internal email analytics tool:

In this (Q214) online survey from Ragan Communications and PoliteMail Software, not only did most communicators say they measure less than half of their internal communications campaigns, they also believe that internal communications doesn’t get much respect from higher-ups.

Two-thirds (67%) of the 776 respondents said internal communications does not receive the same measrurement capabilities and/or budget as external communications programs, such as marketing and sales. Fifty-six percent (56%) of respondents expressed dissatisfaction with how their organizations measure communications.

The majority of survey respondents were from the Americas (85%), with 19% working for organizations with over 30,000 employees and 53% from organizations with 5,000 or fewer employees.
